Activity description
Founded in Turin in 1950 by Mr. Giovanni Venezia, MOKABAR COFFEE ROASTING was situated in some small premises in the neighbourhood of Borgo San Paolo.
The linking between MOKABAR and Bertolino's family started in 1961: Ermenegildo Bertolino joined the business as a dealer. In a very short time, thanks to the solid experience in trading of the gifted Gildo, MOKABAR doubled his production.
In 1971 Gildo took over the firm and in the subsequent years his three sons, Edoardo, Ezio and Gianni, entered into the company. The office was moved in the neighbourhood of Madonna di Campagna until its last location in the current building in Via Stradella.
In 2007 the third generation of Bertolino's family, with Andrea, became part of the company.
Today, MOKABAR coffee roasting is a craftsman and family managed company in which the quality of the production, the constant control of the raw material and the final product and the global attention to the service offered to our customers have always been solid strenghts.
This policy has been rewarded in time through a constant increase of the business volume and a high fidelization of our customers.
